The Google Career Certificates offered at ChattState are REAL classes. These job-ready programs are designed to equip learners with professional-level competencies in high-demand fields. Each program is a combination of virtual and in-person training. The virtual classes are created by Google's experts, designed to prepare you for entry-level jobs in popular & growing tech-based fields.

These virtual classes run on YOUR schedule: you can attend when you want and from wherever you want. ChattState adds a real teacher-- a subject-matter expert-- to the mix, enabling students to get face-to-face information, insider tips, and encouragement from someone who works in the field. Once you graduate, you will receive exclusive access to Google’s nationwide job board. The best part? No previous experience is required to start.

CO.LAB skills accelerator helps people develop skills and credentials to advance their careers.

Complete it at your own pace over this five to ten-week program.

As part of the CO.LAB Skills Accelerator powered by gener8tor, you will receive one-on-one resume building and interview preparation assistance via individualized coaching from a gener8tor career coach. Participants will also have access to weekly webinars such as “How to Project Manage Your Job Search” to supplement their gener8tor Skills curriculum. At the end of the program, all participants will have the opportunity to participate in a Hiring Event where they will be connected to employers actively hiring in addition to long-term job placement support.

CSL’s small-class settings provide the perfect combination of successful results and FUN.

Group classes are offered both virtually and in-person at various levels during four, 10-week terms each year. They can have between 5-15 students.

These classes are for those ages 14+.

The Workforce Development team of Chattanooga State include our faculty members and leadership team from academic divisions and highly qualified professionals with extensive backgrounds in business, manufacturing and education. We offer seminar, workshop, and certificate programs that meet the specific needs of a business or individual.

Stressing  of effective instruction method, quality content, and flexible scheduling to produce needed results for our clients.  Whether the service required is needs assessment, professional training and certification, or soft skill improvement, all programs are developed and implemented through information gathered and collaboration with each customer.

Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) certificate programs are designed to prepare students for immediate employment in a specialized area or to grow within their present career. Typically, they are two semesters or less in length. They are designed for the student who does not intend to transfer to a an associate or baccalaureate degree program. For those programs requiring state licensure to practice their profession, these programs are designed to prepare graduates for such licensure.

A two-day course designed for economic development practitioners and community leaders at local, regional and state levels. Participants will better understand the importance of existing business and industry, techniques to identify and prioritize business and industry needs, and how to develop the strategies and tools to support business retention and expansion in their communities.
